I am from Turkey. I spent my all holidays by reading books when I was a child. Then I started to write my own stories. I was 16 years old when I decided to become a writer. I have graduated from Dokuz Eylul University, Department of Performing Arts, Theater- Dramatic Writing Branch in 1999. I have certificated from English course at Sheffield College after I've come to England. After that, I worked as an editor in Turkey for a few years. Now I am living in England, Chesterfield (a historic small town with gorgeous countryside view) since 2003 with my 14 years old son, my cat Nayla and her four kittens. I have nine children’s books have been published in my country and I have writing awards as well. I'm still writing articles about Turkish and world literature, book reviews, theatre plays and children's stories. I am also translating children’s books.
