Though she is aware that biographies are only interesting if tragically dramatic, Silvia Sigorini is ready to astonish you with her extraordinarily normal life.
Having grown up with a passion for words, she started writing at an early age, but preferred sofas and walls to plain old paper.
After graduating with a dissertation on “The Evolution of Writing Surfaces” (in which, oddly enough, sofas aren’t even mentioned), she got her first job as a university librarian.
She writes for the amusement of both her husband Ezio and her two sons Fabio and Claudio, who serve as valuable guides on her all-inclusive trips through fantastic worlds.
For her, writing is both a passion and a job. She has been working as a copywriter for a web-marketing company for six years. But she has never forgotten where she comes from, and goes back to writing on her beloved sofa, with her beloved children, whenever possible.
