Eugenia Varese

Being Italian, Eugenia Varese has naturally loved painting since childhood. She attended an important artistic high school in Padova, then the well-known Accademia of Belle Art in Venice. On that basis, Eugenia developed an interest in new forms of visual arts, especially for young people and children, such as digital painting. She is now collaborating with some publishing houses as illustrator. She also teaches pictorial techniques and takes part in several art exhibitions.

Meral Ugursan

Meral Ugursan is an author from Turkey. As a child, she spent all her holidays reading books, then she started to write her own stories. Meral was 16 years old when she decided to become a writer. She graduated from Dokuz Eylul University, Department of Performing Arts, Theater- Dramatic Writing Branch in 1999., and earned a certificate from an English course at Sheffield College after moving to England. After that, Meral worked as an editor in Turkey for a few years.

Meral has lived in Chesterfield, England (a historic small town with gorgeous countryside view) since 2003 with her 14-year-old son, her cat Nayla, and Nayla’s four kittens. She has currently published nine children’s books and has won awards for her writing. Meral still writes articles about Turkish and world literature, book reviews, theatre plays, and children's stories. She also translates children’s books.

Marion Transetti

Marion was born in France, then moved to Quebec and lives now in British Columbia. She's a books lover, writes novels' reviews and is also a translator. When not reading or writing, she works as a costumer on movie sets. With fabrics or words, she enjoys creating characters and stories in order to entertain little ones and grown-ups.
